the AI chat button sits at the foot of the sidebar
it opens your one chat surface in a new pane and pins it, so it is always a click away
How a conversation is stored
a chat is an ordinary set carrying the chat marker and the two people in it
,chatits children are the messages, and whoever created a message is its sender
hover a message to reply — replies nest, and each layer has an input of its own
the marker doubles as a switch back to the plain tree, if you would rather read it as sets
It reads as you, and proposes rather than writes
the assistant sees your sets through the same operations you would use, so it can answer questions about your own material
it never edits your content behind your back
a change comes back as a proposal chip; click it and the difference is laid over the pane, where you accept or reject it
Limits
one chat surface per account, with as many threads inside it as you like
there is a daily allowance; when it runs out, chat resumes the following day
no web access — answers come from what the model knows plus what your sets say
