navigation

Search is also how you create
⌘S or ⌘G opens it, and the same keys close it again
with an empty box you get your fifty most recently visited sets
start typing and, unless something matches exactly, a create row appears at the top
↵ opens the highlighted row in this pane, ⌘↵ opens it in a new pane
Bullets and dots
the bullet at the left of a row re-roots the view on that row's first element
the faint dots between elements re-root on the element that follows the dot
hold ⌘ while clicking either one to open it in a new pane instead
this is the whole of navigation in lisct: pick an element, see everything that contains it
Finding your way back
focus, in a row's menu, shows the trail of ancestors you came through — click any of them to climb back up
the row of pills above a pane is where that pane has already been; click one to return, ⌘-click for a new pane
The sidebar
pin a line by typing the sidebar marker into it — there is no button for this
,side
clicking a pinned row opens it; the chevron on its right previews its contents in place
that fold state is the same one the main pane uses
The row menu
the ⋮ in the left margin carries: set as root, open in new, focus, split row, merge row, copy as text, share, delete node, delete subtree, inspect
split row promotes a many-element row into a line of its own; merge row folds it back
it also tells you when the set was created and last changed
